Prayer Requests

The Prayer of Faith
"Is any one of you in trouble? You should pray. Is anyone happy? Sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? You should call on the elders of the church to pray over you and anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord." (James 5:20)

Our compassionate community of believers stands with you in faith, in good times and in bad. We encourage you to reach out to us—visit, call or e-mail—to join you in prayer when you are in need and to rejoice with you to celebrate happy times. Your prayer of concern or joy is very important to us, and we would like to help you in the way you feel would be most beneficial. Please choose one of the following options:

Prayer Chain: A group of approximately 75 people who offer intercessory prayer for others. Your request will be prayed for during the next two weeks.

Prayer Concerns List: A weekly list of names that is made available to the congregation to use for their prayer time. The list can be found in the literature rack outside of the main church office and Kirk Center Rotunda and in the North Link. Names are listed for four weeks.

Pastoral Prayer: Our ministry staff will honor your specific requests in their daily prayer time. Prayer request cards are found in the Sanctuary pew racks and outside the Kirk Center. Complete your request and place the card in the prayer box at the rear of the center aisle or in the Rotunda outside the  Kirk Center.

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them." (Matthew 18:19-20)
