Toastmasters International Youth Leadership Program March 18–May 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in room F4 in the Children's Center. All materials provided at no charge. Designed to develop the speaking and leadership skills of young people (8th–12th grade), enabling them to meet the demands and challenges of today’s world. Participants will learn to prepare and present a speech, conduct meetings, listen effectively and evaluate what they have heard in a workshop setting. Experience "New Life" Art Exhibition The FPC Creative Arts Team is excited to invite you to New Life, an art exhibition based on our Lenten theme “The Seven Deadly Sins.” The multi-artist exhibit will showcase themed works of art, ranging in style and technique from emerging to established artists, each with a unique aesthetic language and fascinating interpretation on the “New Life” theme. In addition, Nashville vocal artist, Amy Courts is returning to FPC Bethlehem and will be performing throughout the evening. Amy Courts is currently touring with Jennifer Knapp and Derek Webb. “So Long, Insecurity” This Beth Moore simulcast study will be presented on April 24, 2010, at Bethel Memorial Baptist Church in Easton sponsored by that church and Truth for Women, a local partner in ministry to women. The study focuses on kissing your insecurities good-bye and discovering the joy of living with confidence. The event will last from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $20 if preregistered by April 20. Registration forms with directions to the church and lunch options can be found in all FPC information racks.
