The Psalms

We invite you to join us as we explore the sacred poetry of the Psalms together as a congregation from April 25–Nov. 21. Our sermons this spring through the fall will be based on specific Psalms–praying our fears, tears, troubles, longings, gratitude, plans and more. Bible studies and small-group studies will also be available for you to join.

Below is a list for weekly Psalm readings. You may use your personal Bible, but we also encourage you to use Eugene Peterson's Pocket New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs as it is a great devotional/prayer version. You can find it at Amazon.com. The Adult Resource Library will also have supplemental resources available. At the bottom of the page are two pdf links; one to help guide you in praying the Psalms and another that gives you more resources for studying the Psalms.

Included with each week's reading is a link to read the Psalms online at BibleGateway and a link to download and print study questions based the week's Psalms. This is a useful guide for both small groups and individuals alike.
