Inquirers

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened"  (Luke 11: 9–10).

If you are reading this page, we hope you are wondering how to join us and get involved. First Presbyterian Church Bethlehem offers inquiring minds an in-depth course to satisfy curiosity, quench thirst, and provide practical information needed to make the informed decision to belong to our community. We welcome all who earnestly seek a walk with Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit.

Inquirers is a ministry for prospective new members, offered three times each year in fall, winter, and spring. In addition to introducing potential members to the specific life of our church and denomination, the curriculum reviews the basics of the faith, focusing on the importance of the personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Because of the small-group model used throughout this process, most new members remain in small groups as they are embraced into the life of the church.
