Discipleship > Adult Discipleship ADULT DISCIPLESHIP Adult Discipleship opportunities are a vital part of the life of our church family. We are committed to enabling and equipping disciples of Jesus Christ along every stage of the faith development. To that end, we offer a variety of avenues by which our members and friends can continue to mature in their faith journey.

SUNDAY
CLASSES Time with One Another — Anyone wanting to be part of a new small group should join us as we take 6 weeks to form what we call “K-Groups” In “K-Groups” you get to meet other Christians, learn to pray together, grow together and serve together, all while spending time in God’s word. Each Sunday class will run like a K-Group so folks get a taste of small group life. Starting Sept. 14 there will be two
weeks on K-Group dynamics. On Sept. 28 and Oct. 5 there will be two
weeks on how to understand the first books of the New Testament. On
Oct.19 groups will put everything into practice for a trial run and then
get launched as a K-Group. A study in the book of acts — (inductive study w/workbook). Find out how the power which transforms the first disciples can and will transform our lives. Also on Wednesdays 7-9 PM. More... GET READY TO STEP INTO AFRICA — A four-week study (Sept. 14-Oct. 5) about the plight of our African brothers and sisters — a precursor to the Step Into Africa World Vision Experience, which is a free interactive exhibit in the Kirk Center October 10-October 13 that will give each of us an opportunity to see, hear, and be touched by the men, women and children affected by HIV and AIDS. Come to one or all four Sunday morning sessions as we learn more about this world crisis and walk with Christ in learning to love one another. When you come to this study you will find that your beliefs will change and you will learn how to risk serving with the most helpless members of our world, God’s little children.
