Communion Prep Set up communion trays before the services, or clean up after the services. Serve approximately three times per year on either the first Saturday of the month for prep, or the first Sunday of the month for cleanup.
Greeters Greet people coming through our church doors on a Sunday morning. You can choose when you would like to serve as a greeter. Time commitment is from 20 minutes before a service until the service begins.
Parking Lot Team Help people find available parking places during special events. Using walkie-talkies, the team keeps traffic flowing on Easter and other special occasions. Arrive 30 minutes before the event.
Friendship Pad Collector Collect the friendship pad slips each week after Sunday services in the Sanctuary. Important information is obtained from the slips and is used by our staff to meet the needs of the worship service participants.
Pew Rack Replenishment Make sure all the racks in the pews that hold our various materials are replenished and kept tidy.
Sunday Morning Receptionist Be a “live” voice on the line when people call for information on a Sunday morning. Direct calls, answer questions, and take messages.
Ushers Be a part of our largest group of volunteers (around 180 people) comprised of 15 teams of ushers. Each team has a captain and is called to usher approximately every 6 weeks. In addition, teams are assigned to special events such as choir concerts, and special worship times during Lent, Advent and Thanksgiving.
Sound Team Provide sound for worship services, weddings, funerals and other special events. CDs of the services are also copied and provided for worship service participants.
Contemporary Worship Team Play in the band, work with multimedia during worship, or help set up or tear down the equipment.
