Assumptions and Assertions: 2. The person with direct knowledge of the open position will provide the necessary information to the appropriate people within the church for posting. They will also notify the same parties to remove the posted opportunity once the position is filled. 3. The interested job seekers will be responsible for searching recent postings, providing required information to the interested company and directly applying for the position, through the appropriate channel. 4. Jobs will be posted for several weeks, then removed, unless a request to renew is received. 5. There is no obligation on the part of the job knowledge provider, owners, executives, the hiring companies or others to hire a person from within the church community. The intent of this program is simply to match potential employees with possible job opportunities. As normal, the hiring of the individual, or not, is at the discretion of the hiring company. 6. There is no obligation on the part of the job seeker to pursue or accept a posted position. All potential interviews and employment rules apply as normal within the given market. 7. This and other formal, approved job networking opportunities, within First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, should be coordinated through the Job Seekers Arise group, the pastoral staff and the appointed deacon, in order to utilize possible program synergies. 8. This is a voluntary program only! First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, its staff, members, volunteers, and/or other affiliate persons or organizations are not held liable or responsible for the accuracy of job-related information, resume content, or the resulting relationship—positive or negative—between the job knowledge provider, the hiring companies and the job seeker, regardless of employment or not. |
